Was having trouble with QuickMask losing it’s masking capabilities, in other words; anything I masked then going to
standard editing mode all maskings were lost. This happens all too often in my PS v.7.01, driving me crazy.
Finally the cure, or at least I have some control over it now.
Do this – When Photo Shop starts to boot, Quickly hold down, <SHIFT> <CTRL> <ALT> (altogether) this resets all your preferences.(say yes)
Won’t hurt anything, and has helped clear up other anomalies in Photo Shop.
