photoshop updates errors message

I have the identical problem, only with Photoshop Elements 2.0. The updates worked fine until recently. I now get the same error message as Ulices and the download fails.

Adobe doesn’t have a newer version of Elements, so the problem can’t be that it’s an obsolete product with no support.

Does anyone have an explanation or know how to solve the problem?

The last update to Elements 2 was November 2002. I’d be very surprised if there was ever another update for that version of the application, and you can always check manually by going TO HERE < http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=4 0&platform=Windows>
