I was cleaning up some JPEG photos taken on my HP Photosmart 318. After resaving them I noticed that for a good number of the pictures (but not all) the EXIF DateTimeOriginal and DateTimeDigitized were scrambled. Is there a way to avoid this, and why is it only effecting some pictures and not others?
