I’m a new user of photoshop. I use PhotoshopCS on WindowsXP Professional.

I have to exchange files with mac users and often when the proof comes back to me the colour is very different and the images are often pixelated.

Has anyone any ideas on how to stop this happening?

Please use nice simple language!

Thanks,

Deborah

there are no cross platform issues with Photoshop. It sounds to me like your just getting cruddy proofs, have you set up your colour profile? its more than likely the printer who is getting things wrong! best speak to the printer abou this issue?

Sounds to me like you are not embedding your colour profiles or the mac user is ignoring them.

Either way, your colour gets hosed.
