I am looking to purchase a new monitor, which is going to be used for graphic design (mostly Photoshop & Illustrator.)
Does anyone here have a recommendation on a good 19" monitor for a reasonable price? Or what specifications I need to look for when purchasing, or a good site that compares monitors.
So far I’ve been looking at (with no clear winner:)
NEC MultiSync FE991 SB 19in
Samsung 955DF Pure Flat CRT, 19in,
Viewsonic E90FB Pure Flat CRT, 19in
Philips 109B5 Real Flat CRT, 19in,
I posted this in Photoshop because that’s the major program I use. James

NEC, and Samsung are great monitors! Avoid Viewsonic. People used to swear by them, now they swear at them! Viewsonics quality has gone in the toilet! I’m not familiar with Phillips. Currently, I’m using a Lacie Electron22blue III, manufactured by Mitsubishi…super monitor!
