A long while back I installed the CS3 beta on a CS2 machine and had some trouble with using CS2 as normal, I think the problem was the CS3 bridge would keep coming up. There was a work around but I just ended up blowing off that install because the OS needed a refresh.

So here I am on a new install of XP Pro and CS2 is working great and I’ve got the CS3 disc here ready to install. But I’m afraid to install it as I’ve got some important gigs coming up where I will use CS2, but on my off days I’d like to play with CS3.

Thanks for any tips and hints to making 2 and 3 co-exist.

I want to add the only real feature I want in CS3 is the 100% view loupe for RAW files, as I’m so tired in CS2 of opening up ACR and having to then choose 100% to check focus, etc.

You can leave CS2 in place and it will still work.

I think the new features in CS3 will win you over especially ACR in bridge much much better and quicker.

Indeed, my CS2 went into the bit-bucket, no reason to keep it. All the actions and plug-ins worked on CS3. I am not totally happy with Bridge.
