How do you adjust what the polygonal lasso tool? I’m trying to cut around an image yet it is doing a zig-zag cut. I do a straight line yet it’s not straight. Is there a way to adjust this?

I am using the Polygonal tool and not the lasso or magnetic tool.

Sorry, I’m working with Adobe 7.0. (Microsoft WindowsXP, version 2002)It’s not the mouse because I have tried 3 computers from the office and it still does the same thing. It was working well so I don’t understand what we moved to make this happen. Even when I create a straight edge square it ends up zig-zagged. Help! I’m trying to finish 100 pictures yet with this problem, it’s difficult.

Well, since it is on three computers, it must be easy to determine what was "before" and what was "after".
I mean, what did change at the time it started. Was it right after you upgraded the O/S?

Does it also happen with a rectangular selection?

And be sure to reset the prefs.
