When trying to run a batch conversion on a folder, I get the message,"No files selected in File Browser". Any idea what this could mean? I’m running 7.0.

do you have files selected in the browser? are you trying to run it on the browser selected files or on a folder of files on your disk? there’s an option for choosing under source.

Check the folder specified in the Source (folder)/Choose dialog. I believe you will find there are no files in it.

It’s an odd message for this condition, but what can I say?

Under the Batch menu you have ‘Browser’ selected as your source ‘folder’, but do not have any files selected in the file browser.

RE: "Under the Batch menu you have ‘Browser’ selected as your source ‘folder’, but do not have any files selected in the file browser."

That’s possible, too. I took "When trying to run a batch conversion on a folder…" to mean he literally had specified Source:Folder.

FWIW the same error message is generated when either Source:Folder or Source:File Browser are specifed and there are no images to process. If Source:Folder is in effect, the message is especially misleading.

In any event he should be able to proceed now.
