HELP My Photoshop will not open any longer

I have been using Photoshop 7 for decades with no problems ( it is my favorite program ) but suddenly it will not open.
It goes through all initializing processes but then just dissapears. I went to restore point and tried it about three times to no avail. I also checked my anti-virus and all my spyware to no avail Any help in bringing it back would be most appreciated.

Decades? I think not.

Watch carefully while Photoshop starts. Does it die while loading fonts? If so you have a corrupted font and will have to track it down and remove it. It could be another corrupted Preset or file, but fonts are a common cause of this problem.

You might also consider trashing/resetting Preferences.
