Hi there,

I need a bit of help and advice in creating a batch action to work on 2,000 files in 252 folders. All the images are different sizes etc, but I can clean up portrait format images later by hand.

All the images are within one folder – WebsiteImages. They are then divided into sub-folders.

Here is what I want to do to each image within these folders:

1. Open it
2. Crop-Resize the image to 550px wide and 380px high
3. Apply Auto Levels
4. Apply +4 Saturation
5. Apply Unsharp Mask of Threshold 0, Pixel Radious 0.5, Percentage 100.
6. Save the image as a 6/12 quality Jpeg
7. Close the image

I’ve tried creating something like this using the actions palette, but had problems using the Save for Web feature. When I tried this using a different method, I found that every image saved with the same file name as the original image I’d used when creating the action.

Any help or advice on how to go about this one would be appreciated.
