What is the tool to use for toning down just the very brightest perspiration areas?

Stamp tool set to darken mode at maybe 40%
Zoom in a lot and carefully chose your source

I add a new layer, use the picker to pick the nearby acceptable color. Set to airbrush low flow, blending mode Luminance, opacity 25 to 35, spray away on the new layer, works like pancake make-up! Tone down the ruddy areas the same way only use a light green-grey and blend mode color. Use a yellow tone to hide and minimize dark circles. This advice from a make up person. It was a warm New Orleans, Halloween night wedding in the garden of a St.Charles Ave. mansion built in 1869. Oh, yeah, oh yeah, it was very nice.
