Has anyone else had a problem with the no-break option in the character palette? I dragged out a text box and pasted in some text and large words were hyphenated. I highlited all the text and checked ‘No Break’ on the character fly-out menu and my text disappears. I pasted the same text in PS7 and the option works fine there. Is this a known problem?

Thanks
Jim

Try doing a search for no-break (ironic that because it should be no break). Scott Byer of Adobe explained this a while back. It’s bugged in PS6 and 7 apparently and behaves correctly in CS. As I never use it, I can’t really comment but I just recalled seeing a post about this and a no-break search should be enlightening for you.

Thanks Mick. It looks like Paragraph>Hyphenate now does the task that No Break used to.
