After using Corel photo for the last 5 years, Im defecting Corel and moving into Photoshop. Is there an easier way of using the clone stamp, if you are familiar with Corel you know what Im talking about, is hard to keep track on photoshop because the mouse icon is not visible in the area that you are cloning from,,,any other way to change this??? and I only see the blur brush on PS and nothing else I can use like the Corel blending brush…Is this correct or is there any thing else I can use, like to blend layers into a background, etc??….Please this is not a flame against either product, I like PS better, is faster and is the standard. The learning curve in Corel is quicker….Sorry about the long post….

Yes, the invisible clone cursor is a long standing problem, as well as the cursor vanishing on complex backgrounds. Colored cursors would be one way out, but for whatever reason that hasn’t happened, though there is a nice plugin for Macintosh that does this.

There are a number of tools besides the blur brush in the "flyout" for that tool. Just click and hold for a second and you’ll see the other tools appear.

For the type of work you appear to be doing, I recommend www.myjanee.com as the one of the best sources for artistically oriented tutorials. —
