I loaded a copy of Photoshop 5.0 on my Windows XP machine. I noticed that quite a few fonts are missing from the drop-down list in the text tool.

The fonts appeared under Windows 95. (I tried running the program in the Windows 95 compatiblity mode, but it does not help.) The fonts work in other programs and are in the Windows fonts folder. The font I particularly want to use is a Hebrew font call David. Below is the text for that font in the adobefont.lst and abobefont07.lst files I assume are relevant.

In a suggestion to a closely related problem, I read a post that advised to change the WritingScript to "Roman." I have not tried this yet.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ira

Quit all apps

find and delete all adobefnt.lst files on your system.
