File>Automate>Web Photo Gallery results in the following fatal error:

"There is an error disabling controls for missing tokens. Some file or folder for selected style might be missing."

I can’t get past the message so I haven’t selected any photo styles.

Any solutions or suggestions appreciated.

Not yet. My sequence of events would be.
Check the forum – done
Check the knowledge base – done
Ask the forum – in process
Call Adobe
Reinstall

Since it is a (legitimate) educational version and I know that Adobe left some stuff out, I thought that there was a possibility that this was part of the left-outs. However, the error message did not indicate what file was missing or reveal any suggestions.

thanks for the response.

since reinstall takes only 2-5 minutes, i’d move it up on your list.

And the education version are NOT crippled down! Only some stock images are sometimes not bundled, but I don’t think that a lot of people uses them…

The reinstall took care of it.

Thanks, folks.

I had the same error message and could not find a work-around, so I reinstalled using the same preferences as I did on my first install.
I continue to get the same error message when choosing file-automate-Web Photo Gallery: "There is an error disabling controls for missing tokens. Some file or folder for selected style might be missing."
I am using the Creative Suites version. Is there a solution for this bug? Or am I just unable to find the find and implement the correct Web Photo Gallery user protocol? Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

so I reinstalled using the same preferences as I did on my first install.

make sure you’re running either complete or custom install with everything selected.
