I fresh installed Photoshop 6.0 when it was released.
I’m now up to Photoshop CS using upgrades.
Can I safely go back and remove Photoshop 6.0 without any problems? I tried this when I upgraded to 7.0 and it caused trouble with 7.0.

You should be able to remove earlier versions. Just make sure that you respond to the question about removing shared files [don’t remove them].

Alternatively, uninstall everything. Then install the PS CS upgrade, showing it PS 6 media when requested.

Or, keep every old version you’ve ever owned, just as reminders and to keep you humble. Hard Drive storage space is cheap.

Photoshop 1.0.7 can make a man humble, I guarantee.

Thanks.

Photoshop 1.0.7?

I didn’t even own a computer back then.
Wish I had though, knowing what I know now.
