Hi All,

I’m in the process of converting some 13,000 bitmaps to .gif format. I’ve set up a custom action assigned to an F key to ease the burden but I was wondering if photoshop has any hidden batch conversion that would convert all files in a given directory? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Use File>Automate>Batch… to run your action recursively on all the files under a particular folder. I’ve done this with hundreds of images – it should work for 13,000 but you may find you need to split it into pieces. —
