OK, so I found this tut on making the rounded tables.

Well how can I work with photoshop, when after I save TOP LEFT it locks the image and I can’t rotate it to make the other corners?
Everything is locked and I’m quicky getting frustrated here and wondering why I paid money for something that won’t work they way I need it to.

I mean using Namo web editor wasn’t this hard, it was easy right out of the box, and every button worked how it was suppose to and did not lock the image or lock up at all.

It’s gotten so that I have to shut down photoshop and restart just to do anything or create another layer to unlock an image.
Then, none of the buttons won’t work after the 1st working, I click on elliptical and it does nothing, but display a double headed arrow.

Maybe I just wasn’t taught right how to unlock something, but this isn’t right.

There has to be a better way than this?

Can someone please help me before I pop a vessel?

Thanks,
J-E

My first thought would be to reset your preferences. See the faqs on this forum for more details, but basically, you hold down "Ctrl-Alt-Shift" and then start Photoshop.

If that doesn’t work, you’re going to have to give us a little bit more info on exactly when PS locks up.

Hola J.
I’m going to guess here. Every time that you open any image in Photoshop it start as a background image. If you notice at the right side in the layers palets, your image will be there (as a thumbnail) and a little lock icon with it. The only way that you will be able to transform or rotate this layer, is by unlocking it. Double click in the name of the layer (it will say Background}, and change the name of the layer (if you want to) then try to transform or rotate.
I’m not sure if this is your problem, but I’m hoping that this will help. If this won’t help you, believe me, in this forums someone will help you.
Good luck.

Dan, in my version of PSCS, I can free transform the background layer, even if it is locked. All you have to do is hit Ctrl A to select the whole image and then Ctrl T and you have the four corners to move. You have to decrease the size of the image Ctrl – so that you can see the handles however. I wouldn’t expect this to work on a locked layer either but it does here.

If what Uly7 says doesn’t help just make a copy of the background layer and practice what you want to do good luck
