I bought a new hot rod computer just for photography. Prior computer had worked well with photoshop 7 on Win 2000 os. Installed Win 2000 and then Photoshop and can’t import images from Canon D 60 to photoshop 7. The canon zoom browser does get the Jpeg images, and then I can drag them to photoshop; however, I cannot import the photoshop PSD rgb images. Advice??

What kind of images are you shooting? JPG or CRW ?

CRW will need the Canon software to read into Photoshop (since ACR 1.0 is no longer available), or update to Photoshop CS.

JPG should open without any problem.

shooting JPeg fine. When event box comes up, there are no choices. Cancelthat out and the click import>connect to camera and get Building image list.extracting images, but nothing happens even if you leave it on all nite.

I can’t figure out what you’re saying happens. It doesn’t make any sense.

Photoshop opens JPEG images, no problem.

How are you transferring the images from the camera to the computer? What is an "event box"?
Why are you using "import->connect to camera" at all? And if that doesn’t work, that would be the fault of whomever made that plugin (because it is not part of Photoshop).
