I took some photographs on my Minolta 7i using RAW. I could only save them as PSD, Raw, jpeg2000 or Tiff. I want to show them on my Windows picture viewer. How do I convert them to JPEGs?

well save as a psd and open in photoshop and then save it as a jpeg.

RTFM when you eventually get a clue!

You clearly don’t have a clue yourself, Stuart. The reason why the files cannot be saved in JPEG is because RAW files are opened in Photoshop in 16 bit color. JPEG doesn’t support 16 bit color, so that option is not available when you choose "Save as…". Convert the images to 8 bit color first.

Apologies, obviously wasn’t a good day for me but as your answer shows it is quite simple and a little reading wouldn’t do him any harm.

P.S. I don’t use RAW files if you have not guessed already
