Anyone know how to make a person look older? What filters should I use, to let’s say make a 20 year old look 70?

I’m not familiar with precise filter references in PS, but my suggestion is to consider two main components of aging. Accumulation of body fat or wrinkles, and gravity (features sagging under years of gravity).

Can you employ filters to emulate these? My sense is you might be able to give the sense of a more porous complexion but insofar as wrinkles and gravity, you’d have to make changes by hand.

I would agree with that though some of the body changes could be done with the liquify tool. Find an image to compare with and use a small hard brush or if you feel confident with it, the draw tool to draw the black lines first on a layer. Duplicate that layer and invert the color to white, schootch them over and up 1 pixel, play with the blending modes of both of the line sets untill you get creases in the skin then perhaps the dodge and burn tools to enhance the wrinkles, finally a nice hairy brush for a light dusting of facial hair and perhaps a few whiskers. Don’t forget the age spots, I think the burn tool with a hard brush would make some marvy liver spots.

Find a pic of an old person and selectivly blend the two images using multipal layers, opacity and the clone & patch tools.

There may not be a filter yet, but give ’em 50 years. They’ll look much older.
