Hi,

I had my Photosop 7 installed under Windows 98. Having trouble with my Canon TWAIN driver I switched to Win XP SP2 home. It resolved my TWAIN issue but created many other problems.

Installing my old Photoshop 7 works fine until it reaches 48% of the installation. Then it seems stops and I’m unable to quit the installation, neither by the "Cancel" button, nor by the program manager. The only way I can quit is by resetting the computer.

I don’t see any big scratch on my CD. What can be the problem???

Thanks,

Richard

I installed PS7 on XP with no problems. You may need to turn off your anti-virus program?

Try Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, System. Any errors reported there?

Maybe dupe you PS7 CD and see if you can install from the dupe?
