Please tell me how can I change the background color in photoshop?
Photoshop doesn’t know which is background or foreground color, so it gives no special treatment to any specific color. So if you want to change some specific color then you will need some skill.
There are 1001+ different ways depending on different situation or what you are good at. Few example.
– You can create a MASK channel/image/layer (whatever you call it), and there are 1001+ different ways to create the Mask depending on the skill you know.
– You can use Channel, Lasso, Quick Mask etc. with combination of dodge/burn, level, color range, lasso etc..
– You can use Quick Mask with combination of replacement layer (background)
– Extract, I have tried but never can master this but some swears by Extract.
So, I would suggest to start practicing all basic commands because when dealing with retouching those are the very basic commands that you pretty much use daily on about all photos. Or yes, I do use Mask, Layer, Level, Curve, Lasso, Brush, Clone, Opacity, Color Balance, Selective Color, Erase etc. on 99.xx% of just about all (important) photos I work on.
