What is the difference between Photoshop 7 and Photoshop CS? I am thinking of upgrading from PS6.

Thanks

Since the only upgrade you can buy will take you to PS CS, why bother worrying about an older version?

You don’t need to get PS 7 first, in case you thought that.

I think there’s a "what’s new in CS" doc on the Adobe sales page.

The link is <http://www.adobe.co.uk/products/photoshop/newfeatures.html> and it only took me two minutes to find it on the Adobe site.

We are all very willing to help here but would like to know that the questioner at least made some effort to look for the answer.

Ron,

I have only been using Photoshop CS for about a week now. So I cannot provide you with a full report. But since you are moving from Photoshop 6, I think you will probably appreciate the File Browser and the Healing Brush, which were both new in Photoshop 7. The features I like particularly in the new Photoshop CS are the Highlight/Shadow control and the new photo filters. I take quite a few digital photographs, but I’m not a very careful photographer. I use the automatic exposure way too much. The two additions that I have mentioned in Photoshop CS have really benefited me in the work that I do.

Regards,
Jim
