image is a yacht on blue water with blue sky; nice bright image to be shown against white background.
how do I fade the edges of the print to get away from the sharp contrasting edge between the blue and the white, without losing to much image info?
I have tried blur options but the don’t quite achieve what I want, and if you use the fore ground to back ground fade it seem to me that to get this to work I have to include to much of the image.
I think what I need is some way to breakup/fade the pixels at the edge ?

any suggestions great fully received

< http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/photoshop/ht/apsvignette.ht m> for instance.

There’s also an Action called ‘Vignette’ in the Default Actions set.
