Hi! – I’m in the habit of scanning more than one image in a session – for example, I’ve just scanned three 35mm slides, one after the other.
I’m scanning from within PSCS using the File > Import facility, using a Nikon Super Coolscan 4000 ED and Nikon Scan v3.1.2. I have arranged my screen so that the scanner tools are on the left and the preview window is on the right. This means that the Close Program box (with the X in it) is directly below the PSCS Close Program box.
If I accidentally click the top X box for PSCS, then it closes immediately to the desktop, without asking whether I want to save the images that I have just scanned, that are open in PSCS ‘behind’ the Nikon Scan window. Its damned annoying to loose 30mins work in an instant, as we all know. Could PSCS not kindly ASK whether to close without saving in this situation? Is it possible to fix this in the next update please?
Thanks. Brian
