Hi.

Last year the people who prepared our flyer produced a double page pdf from Photoshop … (don’t know what version). The whole file, two pages remember, was about 2000 meg.

This year I have had to change firms, and the new bods have given separate paged pdf files, each one about 20 000 meg! The jpegs they also produced were a sensible size.

It takes about 5 minutes to load one of the new pdf’s into Acrobat 5, whereas before it took about 15 seconds to load two pages.

What are the new people doing wrong with the settings please? I don’t know Photoshop at all, except I know that they "flattened"?? the picture before saving as a jpeg. Should they have "flattened" it before making the pdf?

Thanks.

Dave
