Hi. All the sudden all the curved sections on my text have jagged or uneaven edges as if anti-aliasing is off. It was never like this before. Switching anti-aliased off/on, contiguous off/on, and use all layers (no idea what this does) off/on makes not difference.

Is there some setting that got changed? Previously this was never an issue. Even applying layer styles create this.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Something must have changed.

Check if your’not in index or bitmap mode. Also is the dpi of the file not something like 2? what is the "points" figure of the font in use?

With your text tool selected, check the options bar, make sure the anti-aliasing option there isnt set to ‘none’.

Thanks Rob. Well, I am in RGB mode. If by points you mean that pixle size the text is then I am working in around 90-120 pix.

While the TEXT tool is selected I go to WINDOWS>OPTIONS i dont see a place to put a number value for anti-aliasing or a place for that at all.

In the options bar, on the right of the point size is a pull down menu with various choices of anti-aliasing. If it’s set to none – you will have bad looking text on screen.
