Too vague Indra… What program did you make your 3D cube in? What platform? (PC/Windows, or an Apple?). PhotoShop doesn’t have any support for doing real 3D, and you definately cant control it with a trackball.

Hey Indra,

The 3-D cube on the web page you sent is easy to make in Photoshop, but I have no idea how your instructor wants you to rotate it. I don’t think Photoshop is able to rotate 3-D objects, at least not like a 3-D graphics program or CAD program can.

The only way I can think of doing it in Photoshop would be to make an animation in ImageReady that makes it look like the cube is really rotating. Then on a Web page, you could create an image with the animation as the rollover. The still picture of the cube would be the main image while the animation would play when you moused over it.

This may be cheating, but your instructor seems to be asking you to do something beyond the capabilities of Photoshop.

Good luck!

You know English way better than I know Dutch or French!
