(re)run adobe gamma from the control panel.

thanks. Now I have the beatles stuck in my head (again!).

"When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody’s help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I’m not so self assured,
Now I find I’ve changed my mind I’ve opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I’m feeling down
And I do appreciate you being around.
Help me get my feet back on the ground,
Won’t you please, please help me."

<Young Fred>H for hurry, E for urgent, L for love me and P for p-p-p-p-please help!</YF>

(Apologies in advance for the song lyric post, but it was just sooooo appropriate)

The Rutles

Ouch!
(Nasty/McQuickly)
Parlourphone single R-5305, 7/23/65
Lead Vocal: Ron Nasty

Ouch!
You’re breaking my heart
Ouch!
I’m falling apart
Ouch!
Ow-ow-ouch!

When we first met
I must admit I fell for you right from the start
Now when we meet
all kinds of things it seems upset the apple cart
Ouch!
Don’t desert me
Ouch!
Please don’t hurt me
Ouch!
Ow-ow-ouch!

What is thing called love?
Why do they say it makes the world go ’round?
I can’t explain
the way I feel for you, my feet don’t touch the ground
Ouch!
Don’t desert me
Ouch!
Please don’t hurt me
Ouch!
Ow-ow-ouch!

(repeat first verse)
(repeat refrain twice)

Jinai,

The point Dave is making is that you will be better served by ASKING for help and not DEMANDING help or DEMANDING quick replies!

You should read LenHewitt "How To Get Help Quickly" 3/6/04 3:14am </cgi-bin/webx?50>

The answer to your question is that in Photoshop you are viewing within a colour managed environment. Outside of Photoshop you are (generally) not.

If your problem concerns viewing images in a web browser, then setting your RGB working space in Photoshop to sRGB will give you a better match, but setting your Proof colours to Monitor RGB and checking View Proof colours will give you an exact match.
