fill Command

Using the fill command in Photoshop edit command after selecting with the magic wand command does not work . but the fill command works in the layer mode .

Try using alt+backspace

One possibility for that situation is to make your selection then Layer>New Fill Layer>Pattern. This will automatically create a layer with a mask defined by the selection. There may be a better way but I’m not sure exactly what you have going.

Thanks for the info. When using layer fill in it works. However when I use an AFX Plug-in it only shows one layer the others are black. Have to switch to ulead photoimact to do the rest of editing.
