I’ve installed several new fonts on my windows XP Pro workstation. When I close and reopen Photoshop and use the text tool and browse through available fonts, the vast majority of the new fonts do not appear.

If however, I open MS Word and browse the list of available fonts, all the new fonts are available for use.

Are there fonts that are not compatible with PS, or is there something additional I need to do from within PS to activate all the new fonts? The fonts I downloaded are nothing out of the ordinary, just otf and ttf files.

Thank you

check c:\program files\common files\adobe\fonts for the otf fonts’ files.
