All,
If I store my PSDs on a network drive, I can lay down money on when PS will completely reboot the system.

If the files are stored locally, not a single problem, ever. Just when the files are stored on a network (accessed via a mapped drive or even through Network Places).

Workstations are XP Pro, 3.2Ghz, 4GB ram, 320 GB SATA drives, Scratch Disks are set to D:, Windows Swap is set to C:. The network share is on a WIN2K Server, 2Ghz 2GB RAM box. All machines are using 10/100/1000 cards, operating at 1000.

Any ideas ? Again, if the files are opened and worked on locally, not a single problem.
Thanks.

Don’t try to work over the network.

Not only is it damnably slower, it’s usually as unstable as you’re finding.
