Hey guys, can you help me out by showing me where I can get some high quality (640×480+) textures. Free perferably, I just sunk a lotta (good) money into Adobe’s (good) Photoshop and Illustrator. 🙂 thanks in advance.

Have a dig through the The Photoshop Lounge Resource Repository (Resource thread!) <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?128@@.2ccd3ccf>. Keep checking out the other threads, too. Good info can be mined here.

And make Google your secret lover.

Search using the following string (eliminate the quotation marks) "Photoshop textures patterns" and you’ll be busy for days.

Yes, get a scanner, or a digital camera, and do your own textures… If you are doing 3d texturing, Painting your textures is common, too!

www.indezine.com has hundreds of textures, all of similar designs.

(If you buy the book, buy it at 1stbooks.
It’s much cheaper than Amazon or B&N.)

Well, I used Google, but you know how it is sometimes. There are those great SECRET websites (mayhaps they don’t use META TAGS well?) That only people "in the know" will know about.

I’ve found some good sites already, even some that were cheap but well worth the money. Gotta keep them costs low! 🙂

I’d really like to get a digital camera, but I don’t have the fund just yet. I’d like to get a camera for $300 or less, with 3 or more MP and at least 10x optical and 3x digital zoom. Also, Movie capturing of at least 10-30 seconds would be nice. 32-64MB Card to start, and I’d probably have to find a bigger one.

My friend had a Casio Exilim Z3 Camera that was SO small, but took GREAT 3.0MP pictures and had support for movies. Even a decent size LCD. Neat. But Digital Photography…great! Yet ANOTHER field to get into!

meta tags are the last thing used these days for search results….

Forgot to add that Indezine’s price is right: $0.
