I am runnning Photoshop CS3 on a PC using Windows XP Pro.

When I choose browse from Photoshop CS3’s menu I see a window which states:

Error 2: photoshop 10 is undefined. Line:1 -> photoshop10.invokeBridge (false, false, ")

That’s as far as it gets.

If I load Bridge from its own start menu it works fine.

Has anyone got a solution?

Go to Adobe.com site

chose downloads>product upgrades>bridge

download
2.1 vc_cs3_client_310.exe
2.1 update asset_services_cs3_310.exe
2.1 cs3 update v2.1.exe
install

after that, download
bridge_2_1_1.exe
install

Good luck,
Thom

Man, that should not be necessary. Use the Adobe updater and it will take care of everything.

i have the same problem exactly….running updater has not helped. in addition, if i open bridge first and open a file to photoshop, PS opens, but does not function properly (e.g blend modes from layers flyout will not stay open and recent files does not work) and when i try to call up bridge from the icon in PS, i get the same message. however, and this is the real mystery….if i close and open PS two or maybe three times, all works as it should! and then, on occasion, it surprises me sometimes by working correctly if i open photoshop, the first time, or if i open bridge first.?????

i’m stumped, and i’ve tried everything i could think of short of uninstalling and reinstalling PS again (which i have already done once)

Unless the updater is broken…

Andrew

you all realize re-install is not going to change the inner secret files PS puts on your drive??

you need to get and run the CS3 remover file first before re-install
