Hi,
I create sports trader cards, I find I always have to play with resize values on a action shot in order to get the my desired crop to fit my card template.
This is how I work now:
– 0pen my my trader card template
– open the action shot
– on the trader card, make a selection for the action layer (597×842) – drag a 597×842 selection over to the action shot
– take a best guess at what the resize should be in order for the action shot crop to fit in the selection.
– resize, drag the selection back (cause it dissapeared) – if it’s a good fit, copy paste back to the trader card template, if not resize again…..
There must be a better way to do this.
I would like to drag the selection over to the action shot, roughly center it over my desired crop, and then somehow use the scroll wheel on my mouse to resize the action shot (back and forth) WITHOUT loosing the selection for visual reference.
I hope I explained things clearly.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Chris
