All of a sudden, the psd icons showed up as a non-assigned generic icon in explorer and dekstop. They appropriately opened up Photoshop 7 when clicked on however, but now all thumbnail previews dont show up in Windows.

I tried to reassign the psd icons to the generic Photoshop 7 psd image, and it refused to stick. So I tried assigning Photoshop CS icons to it, and it worked..but still no thumbnail previews.

How can I get this functionality back?

Using XP Home and PS 7.01 and CS.

Did you find that reply useful? If so could you post what was said? I just got on the group a couple of days ago and don’t have all the messages going back that far….and my thumbnails are missing too.
