My Photoshop Image Ready CS has "Save as" but does not have "Save For Web". If i use "Save As" it says not enough space on a empty disk!. What would be an appropriate size (Width-Height) to save it to A:\ drive?

PhotoShop does **not** like trying to save to a floppy disk. The reason is PS sometimes needs to make temporary files during the ‘Save’ process, and needs lots of free disk space to do that. Save the file to your hard disk, and then copy it to your floppy.

Again…..

My conclusion is:
landscape: 22 cm (OK, I converted for the unmetrics) 8.8 inches high portrait: the same but then width

Make sure that under Image>>Image Size>> Constrain Proportians is on.

Make it 76 DPI.

ImageReady does not have Save for Web because it IS Save for Web for all intents and purposes. You wouldn’t use IR for print.

I find that some sensual yet novel use of the assorted Lasso Tools, followed by variations with the old Magic Wand in conjunction with some dexterous use of the Hand Tool, and potentially prolonged tweening in ImageReady usually does the trick! But then I take my art seriously!

"Save Optimized As…" is the "Save for Web" choice in ImageReady.
