I am currently using Windows Me.I downloaded ure photoshop cs tryout version and wanted to purchase it.But when i install it ,it says i have to install wonodws service pack 2003 .i can change my operating system.please help me in this case.

Please go back to the CS tryout download page and read the System Requirements at the bottom of the page:

You must upgrade your OS.

I had the same problem, but everything in this thread wasn’t helping. So I decided to look elsewhere and I found this.

That, is a Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. Download that, and run it. When you run it, it gives you a list of programs. Look for Adobe Setup 1.0. Once you found it, click remove. If there is more than one of those files, then remove them too. Once that is done, run the Photoshop CS3 setup and it should go back to normal. It worked for me. So I’m assuming it should work for you.

In case it doesn’t work, try removing ALL CS3 elements with the Adobe Setup. I haven’t tried it, because I didn’t want to take the risk. But this is in case it doesn’t work.

I actually needed to use this utility to get Lightroom 1.3.1 to install correctly. Great resource.
