About AceCad Flair.

I have used AceCad Flair tablet for 3 years now and have the one with serial connection.
Sometimes there is a problem for Windows XP to find the tablet, but one restart and its
there again. When it’s working, it’s working great. There is no extras and "only" 512 pressure
levels, (the new USB has 1024 levels) no erazer in the end and it has a tiny (AAAA) battery
that seams to last "forever" and it’s still not havey to hold the whole day..
I think it’s a very good tablet for the first time buyer, especially for that price.

When you NEED something better I’m sure you know, what you are looking for at that time.

Well I’m not a pro who earns millions from what I make with my Painter 7. But I’m very happy with the pen and tablet.

I’ve seen posts on this group for Wacom tablets, but was curious: i stumbled across an Acecad flair tablet for $50 at PriceWatch today, and wondered if anyone had any experience with this product and would be willing to rate it for quality and value.

If it doesn’t come from Wacom, it’s not worth it. Unless you want it as a throwaway and buy a decent one in a year or so. Wacoms are quality built, their software/drivers are always up to date and work with no problems, and they last forever. I’ve had mine 10 years so far.

In other words, you’ll get what you pay for.

As I said I don’t earn money on my creations made with Painter7 and AceCad Flair tablet.
So for me the price is high enough to give me the oppertunity to have fun. If you earn money togther with your Wacom tablet I’m sure your customers are the one paying!

So all you NON professionals take a look at the AceCad Flare Tablet it’s well worth the money.

Wacom may be good, but that’s by no means a reason to throw all others away! Wacom is 2 – 3 times the price of that of other companies, so it ‘s certainly worth taking a look.

The reason you’ll end up throwing the others away is because they’ll die on you, or the drivers will go out of date, or something connected to them will stop working. It’s quite likely you’ll have to buy three or four or more of them in the lifetime of a single Wacom tablet.

Wacom aren’t just "good". They are the best by so far the others are out of sight.
