I have an action file (for edge sgarpening script)that I use on a mac and now I’m trying to transfer it to a PC. I load the file into

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Photoshop Actions

And rename it to a .ATN file type but it does not show up in PS. How do I load the action sript to the PC?

they don’t just show up, have you opened the script palette flyout and tried "load script"? that said, i’m not positive that a mac script will work in windows, but either way you need to actually load it to find out.

For the action, go to the actions palette menu, and select load actions.

OK. We (Jenny and I) admit we are dumb. We can’t find the "load actions" item. It seems to have play, create new set, create new action, delete.

Are we looking at the wrong thing.

there should be a right facing black arrow at the top of the palette. clicking that brings up the "flyout menu" that contains "Load Action"
