particular effect with photoshop

Hello, i’m trying to have this effect:

but i don’t know how to have it. I tryied many effect with psd but it was useless. Can you tell me step by step how do i get it?

Looks like a 1 pixel outline on its own layer with bevel/emboss effect applied.

Hi,
One possibility would be to use the Rounded Rectangle tool to place the shape you want the effect. Then in layer styles under advanced blending set the fill opacity to 0 – this is where the transparency shapes layer will come into play. Then enable Outer Glow and under its settings change the opacity to 100 and the color to black. You can tweak size, spread and profile to get the look you’re after.

Hello, thanks for your answer. I have tried but the effect is different from mine. In my example we have two lines, one black and one white, each one of 1 pixel. The two lines exchange, and create the effect. Infact on the upper side the black line is above the white line. In the lower side the black line is under the white line. In your example the lines mantain their position.

Ok, I have something for you but I don’t think your going to like it. Just as before set the outer glow so it forms a one pixel perimeter around the rounded rectangle.
Now group that layer into a smart object then add another style to it. Again set the fill opacity to zero under advanced blending options. Then add a drop shadow with these settings:
Color – black
Opacity – 100
Global light – default is 120° – this can be used to move the white line’s relationship to the black one.
Distance – 1
Spread – 0
Size – 0
No anti-aliasing

Then, still in the style, add a stroke with these settings: Color – white
Size – 1
Position – inside
Blend – normal
Opacity 100
Fill type color

This gets very close the your effect but it’s not perfect.
