have reinstalled and even reformated my computer to see if it was a computer problem but when I’m making graphics with Photo Shop 7 and if the picture is taken from a dvd capture for example if i save a picture from a website that used a dvd to capture the images than i can’t type text on the picture. my other friends who will use the picture and PS7 don’t have a problem with this. Can someone tell me if there is something I can fix in my program so that it will let me write text on these type of pictures? If you would like a link to the picture I tried to use just let me know. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me with this.

Ah. Your type is tiny because the dimensions of the image is 256 x 192 inces @ 3 ppi.

You might want to fix that first.

when i resize the picture or change the canvas size the text is still small. i usually make graphics 100×100 but once i get them to that size i still can’t seem to type anything on them that i can see even when i change the font size.

after i did that delete the preference file it says "You currently have Adobe Photoshop primary Scratch and Windows primary paging file on the same volume, which can result in reduced performance. It is recommended that you set Adobes Photoshop’s primary scratch volume to be on a different level, preferably on a different physical drive", could this be the problem? because i still can’t write on the text and if this is the problem how did i fix it exactly?

Anna,

could this be the problem? <<

NO. That message is ADVISORY only. Other than possible reduced performance (speed) it will not affect the operation of Photoshop.

If you have more than one drive, you can reset your Photoshop Primary scratch disk from Edit>Preferences>Plugins and Scratch
