I need to create a "genie in a glass bottle" effect for a friend of mine. I have a picture of a man I want inside a glass bottle. Any ideas on how it can be done. I’m using Photoshop CS. Paul.

edit, tranform, then strech him to fit in the bottle, then duplicate the bottle layer, place this on the top layer, then adjust the trasnparency. This is a quick and easy option.

you might also mess around with ps’s liquify filter…

In addition to transparency settings, play around with the blend modes.

I would favour the blend modes myself
