I play this game called battlefield 1942: DC Mod. I took a snapshot of one of the maps that we play and imported it into Photoshop. I created several layers, each layer identifies all the locations of an individual item, for example, one layer would highlight all the ammo boxes while another layer would show all the health cabinets. I know the new acrobat will display layers. How do I export my Photoshop CS picture with layers intact, to a PDF file that will allow someone to click the layers on and off within Acrobat. I tried to Save As.. PDF file with the layers box checked. I got a PDF file and it has a layers button available. but when I click it, it does not list the layers to choose from.

I don’t think that will work. The only app that I know of that will keep the layers intact is InDesign. I haven’t tried it with Illustrator.

I’m in need of this capability as well.

I guess it’s similar to the Layer Comps feature described on: <http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/newfeatures.html> (as that page appears now in May 2004) but for PDF files created by Photoshop.

I don’t want to send the Photoshop file because I’m on Windows and the recipient is on Mac and I want to make sure the fonts in my document look as expected.

I think it’s really weird that Acrobat 6 supports layers from AutoCAD and Visio but not Photoshop CS.
