Hello,

I’m interested in creating a screen saver, but I’m not sure how to go about it. Can I do it in PhotoShop or ImageReady? How would I creat the slides, save it, etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Jonathan

You can create the individual images in Photoshop and I’d suggest using Save For Web to generate compressed Jpegs. I make mine 1024×768. Then you need a program that combines the images and generates the executable that installs the screensaver. I use Stardust Software Screensaver Toolkit:
<http://www.stardustsoftware.com/products/sstoolkit3/> But it’s relatively expensive but has the most customizable options. I sell screensavers from a few of my web sites. You can also get $20 software that can generate a screensaver from the shareware sites, like Tucows. Just do a search.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll try doing a search like you mentioned and see what I come up with.

XP has a built-in "slide show" screen saver.
