I found a tutorial on this site about making text curved around a circle, but am confused by some terms I don’t konw. The tutorial says to create a "circle path or a circle shape layer". I don’t know what that means. I tried it with a layer but the text did not curve around the circle. Consequently, when I tried to use the path selection tool nothing happened. This is probably why I don’t understand what "type layer thumbnail" means.
