I’m running CS under XP. I find the status bar very valuable and use the selection under Windows to display it, but after a while it disappears.

Is there a way to keep it permanently open? Help was no help on this question.

Thanks,

Dennis

Window > Status Bar.

Mine seems to disappear on its own too. I just turn it back on.

An annoyance for sure!

Peadge,

I tried the NAPP help desk and this is the immediate response I received.

Thanks,

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

Like any of the palettes, the Status Bar (under Windows only, not Mac) can be shown or hidden. Unless you’ve assigned a shortcut to that command in Edit> Keyboard Shortcuts, the only thing that should make the Status Bar disappear other than the Window> Status Bar command is the F key.

Thanks for the question & best of luck!
