I am using PS CS3 Suite. I have done a batch rename in Bridge CS3 of a folder of PSD files. When I subsequently save one as a JPEG it gets the old file name. How can I prevent this? I would like the jpeg file to have the same name as the psd file.

Hi, Sorry I cannot replicate the problem. Here is what I tried.

1. Started with six Canon 1D Mark III RAW files and used image processor to convert to PSD.

2. Used the batch rename feature in Bridge to rename to sequential number with three digits.

3. Opened one file in CS3 and choose SaveAs and the default file name doe snot change back to the original file name.

This is on Windows XP with CS3, version 10.0.1
