I would like instructions to take an image from a larger picture, and remove the background and put it into another picture please. I am using Photo Shop CS. I appreciate this newsgroup.Dick Ross

Basically, just make a selection around the portion you want to copy and, once the selection is complete, just drag it to the other picture (other file) with the Move Tool.
